🛠️ RGB Color-Changing Sign: Wiring & Installation Guide 🌈
Congratulations on your new custom LED sign! To ensure your sign stays vibrant and functions safely, please read and follow these critical wiring instructions before beginning your installation.
⚠️ IMPORTANT PRE-CONNECTION CHECKLIST
1. Power Supply Verification

Check Voltage: Most signs require a 12V DC Power Transformer.

Internal vs. External: Determine if your transformer is built into the sign or external. If it is external, you must connect the sign to the 12V transformer first, and then connect the transformer to your standard hardwired power or plug.
2. Critical Wiring Protocol (RGB Signal Logic)
Connecting wires incorrectly can permanently damage the LED modules. Please identify your wire colors and follow this logic strictly:

Positive (+): Connect to the positive terminal.

Negative (-): Connect to the negative terminal.

Signal (S): Connect to the data/control line.
❗ WARNING: > * Do NOT connect the Signal line to the Negative terminal; this will burn out the internal circuitry.
Do NOT connect the Negative line to the Positive terminal; the sign will fail to light up.
3. Color Matching Support
If your sign’s wire colors do not match the connection patterns displayed in your manual, STOP immediately. Do not attempt a connection. Please reach out to us at info@backlitledsign.com for professional electrician connection help.
4. Controller & App Setup

Remote Control: Make sure the RGB remote has a battery inserted. Press the Power button to activate it for color control.

Mobile App: You can also scan the QR code on the controller to download the app and manage your colors directly from your phone.

💎 Handle with Extreme Care: Treat the sign with precision throughout the installation. Avoid placing direct pressure on the LED faces or delicate edges to prevent internal damage.

🔒 Secure Mounting: Ensure the sign is properly fastened and balanced against the wall. It is critical to verify that the sign is stable and immobile to prevent it from falling.

🛡️ Prioritize Personal Safety: Your safety is the top priority. Always wear appropriate PPE, such as protective gloves and safety glasses, during the installation process.

🚫 Maintain Product Integrity: Do not tear, modify, or open any parts of the sign. Any adjustments should only be made under our instruction or the guidance of a professional engineer.
